Vernon County, Wisconsin

Vernon County is a county in South West Wisconsin. It is named after Mount Vernon.
The seat and largest city are both Viroqua. It is set on the Mississippi river.

It borders La Crosse, Monroe, Juneau, Richland, Sauk and Crawford Counties Counties in Wisconsin, as well as Allamakee County in Iowa and Houston County in Minnesota.

Main highways include US-14, US-61, WI-27, WI-33, WI-35, WI-56, WI-80 and WI-82.
